영국 남부 해안가 도시

hastings 에 일주일간 묶으면서, 주변 해변가 도시들을 방문하였다.

지역은 Eastbourne 에서 켄트까지 커버 - Stagecoach bus. Easy sussex

투어리스트 오피스에서 구매해도 되고, 버스에서 기사에게 바로 구매 가능하다.
이 표를 가지고seven sisters 까지 brighton&hove 버스를 이용할 수 있는지는 좀 불확실하다. 이론상으로는 가능할 것 같다. 웹사이트에 easy sussex 지역의 brighton&hove 버스를 이용할 수 있다고 했고, 투어리스트 오피스에서도, seven sisters 는 easy sussex 구역이라고 거듭 이야기했었다. 나는 brighton 까지 가기 위해서 어차피 아래 표를 추가로 구입했었다.

영국 전화번호가 있으면 모바일 티켓을 살수 있음. 3.5 파운드

Eastborurne 에서 버스 하차후 투어리스트 오피스를 찾아가면 살 수 있음. 걸어서 갈 수 있음. 버스에서 직접사면 가격이 더 비쌈. 무려 7 파운드.

이용해본 결과, 버스는 작은 마을을 구석구석 방문하기 때문에 시간이 많이 걸림. 그리고,기차선로가 훨씬 해변가에 가까이 지나가므로 조망도 더 좋다. 조금이라도 아낀다고 버스를 이용했지만, 다시 간다면 downlander 를 구매할 생각.

Bus to Kirkjubøur from Torshavn

Kirkjubour 는 버스로 2-30 분 떨어진 가까운 곳이다.  따로 투어 신청하지 않고 혼자 반나절에 갔다올 수 있는 곳.  트레킹 좋아하는 사람은 하루 산타고 넘어갔다 오기도 하던데...

단, 종점에서 1-2km 정도 도보로 걸어가야 한다. 아래 노란색 박스가 버스 종점.

Torshavn Free City Bus Routes

I didn't have any chance to try city bus during my stay, but the information is really useful. The Municipality offers free bus service throughout the Municipality. Hotels in Torshavn

If you arrive in Torshavn by bus, the best hotels would be Hotel Torshavn or Hotel Hafnia. They are within walking distance from the bus terminal where the bus 300 arrives, and located in the city center. The road to the hotels does not involve any stiff hills or stairways.
Hotel Streym might be another good option as well. That is probably the closest one but it is in the opposite direction of the city center (to the east side from the bus terminal). It may not really matter though, because without suitcases, it is not hard walking to the city center - remember Torshavn is claimed to be world's smallest capital city. In fact you may not spend lots of time inside the town, rather you would take excursions during the daytime.

With suitcases, probably I would not go farther than Hotel Torshavn, considering the possibility of rain on arrival, and the possibility of encountering hills and steps on the way.
